All guests that have reserved and confirmed their stay at a Beach Gypsy property will be expected to abide by the below Terms & Conditions of property hire.
Terms & Conditions of hire
Please read and understand the following terms and conditions of property hire to ensure a pleasant stay. By booking with us, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
- Check-in time is at 4 pm, and check-out time is strictly at 10 am on the day of departure. Early check-in or late departure may be possible subject to availability. Please contact us to confirm.
- No parties, events, loud music, or noise are permitted on the property. Unless otherwise specified, pets are not allowed. The properties are located, in residential areas, and quiet time restrictions apply between 11 pm and 6 am.
- All properties are furnished with a full set of linen, including a bath towel for each guest. Please do not use towels in a way that may result in staining, such as with hair dye or makeup. You will be responsible for replacing any stained towels. Towels are not permitted to be taken to the beach.
- All properties come with a complimentary starter pack of coffee, sugar, milk, toilet paper, and basic cleaning supplies. Once depleted, guests must purchase their own.
- Overcrowding, additional, or overnight visitors are not allowed, and the owner reserves the right to refuse entry to the entire party if this condition is not observed. Flammable or dangerous articles may not be brought onto the property.
- The use of braai equipment is restricted to the designated area. Properties with Weber braai only allow the use of charcoal or briquettes. If you want to use wood, please check with us if the property you reserved has a suitable braai.
- Please check the contents of the unit and report any damaged items. Failure to do so may result in you being held responsible for the replacement of such damaged or missing items. Any spillages, stains, damages, etc., during your stay must be reported and will be replaced for uniformity’s sake. The cost will be for your account.
- The property must be left tidy on departure, and an additional fee will be due if the apartment/house is left excessively dirty. The property is not serviced daily, but a service of the unit can be arranged for an additional cost.
- Drugs, vaping, hookah/hubbly bubbly of any kind are strictly prohibited on the premises. Always lock the front door and close windows when leaving or going to sleep.
- Lost keys will incur a fee of R350.
- A fully refundable safety and security deposit may be required. Please check with us to confirm details. It is the sole responsibility of guests to ensure they plan for adequate insurance cover on all valuable items, as well as medical and personal travel insurance.
DISCLAIMER NOTICE / INDEMNITY Guests enter and use the establishment at their own risk. The proprietor, its agent/s, and/or its employee/s shall not be liable for, and the guest/s hereby waive/s and abandon any claims of whatever nature including, but not limited to, theft, injury, loss, or damage, negligence, or otherwise of whatever nature, against the Proprietor, whether arising from the Proprietor’s default, negligence, or otherwise. We reserve the right to remove/evict anyone from the property that breaks or disobeys the house rules, terms & conditions of hire.
By paying the deposit, guests acknowledge receipt of this indemnity agreement and confirm that they have read and understood the terms and conditions together with the house rules.
