Procedure for making reservations:

To make a reservation with Beach Gypsy, please contact us directly to check for availability and rates. We will provide you with a quote that includes all relevant information about the property. If you decide to proceed with the booking, we will send you a confirmation document outlining the reservation and its terms. Please note that a deposit is required to secure your reservation, and you will have 48 hours to make the payment.

You can contact us by phone, email, or through our website’s contact form. Please include your preferred dates, the number of guests, and any special requests or questions you may have. We are always happy to help and answer any questions you may have about our properties or the reservation process.


General Information:

  • Rates: Our rates are seasonal, and we offer discounts on all properties when you book directly with Beach Gypsy.
  • Cancellation Policy: Depending on the season, the cancellation policy will be noted on the confirmation document.
  • Check-in: Times vary depending on the property and outgoing guests. If you would like an early check-in, please check with us.
  • Your Hosts: Sean and Collette! We offer our guests privacy but are always available to assist with any issues or requests.
  • Checkout: Checkout is strictly at 10am unless you’ve arranged a late check-out with us.
  • Luggage Storage: If we’re unable to provide early/late check-out, you’re welcome to leave your luggage with us.
  • Wi-Fi: All Beach Gypsy properties offer free Wi-Fi, and most properties have UPS for backup power.
  • Parking: Please check the parking options on the property listing.
  • Bedding and Towels: All properties supply bedding and bath towels. Most properties require guests to bring their own beach towels.
  • Cutlery and Crockery: Most of our properties are self-catering and come equipped with cutlery and crockery. Please refer to the property listing for details on additional amenities such as pots, pans, stove, microwave, etc.
  • Braai (Barbecue): Please check the property listing for braai details. Properties with Weber braais do not allow the use of wood, only charcoal or briquettes.
  • In-going Starter Pack: Most properties supply a complimentary in-going pack, such as coffee, sugar, milk, and toilet paper.
  • Additional Guests or Visitors: Strictly no additional overnight guests are allowed. Visitors are allowed on request.
  • Pets: Some of our properties are pet friendly. Please let us know if you’d like to bring your furry friend along.
  • Toddlers & Guests with disabilities: Please note that not all our properties are suitable for toddlers or guests with walking difficulties. We recommend checking with us beforehand to ensure that we can provide a property that meets your specific needs.
  • Safety and Security Information: It’s the sole responsibility of guests to ensure they plan for adequate insurance cover on all valuable items, as well as personal travel and health insurance. Guests renting properties with swimming pools are solely responsible for ensuring the safety of everyone, including children, using the pool.
  • Load Shedding: All properties provide battery lights & ups back up for wi-fi
